"Hi, I’m Melchior. Today, I will be your guide from Karolinenplatz to Königsplatz!"

Melchior is my new imaginary architectural guide. He will show you interesting places in the area where I live.

"These two Munich squares were built at the beginning of the 19th century. You can see the Propylaeum in the background," he explained at the beginning. In episode 1, he takes you to Munich's Karolinenplatz and Königsplatz, an area called "Isar-Athens" because of its predominant neo-classical architecture.

The tour ends at the Probylaeum, "a gate in the shape of a temple. It is in line with the obelisk from the beginning of our tour", said Melchoir. This sheet was part of a competition.
